I work as a psychotherapeutic counsellor in Brighton and Hove, offering face-to-face and online sessions. I qualified at Middlesex University and hold a BA Hons in Integrative Relational Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am also a trained facilitator of the Systemic Constellation method which I use in my work to explore the transgenerational effect on present issues. I am a registered member of BACP which means I am bound by their professional and ethical framework.
I began my counselling career working in a women’s centre, followed by a time in NHS primary care. I gained experience working for Care for the Carers before moving to private practice where I work with a diverse range of clients who have issues which are both varied and complex.
Lately I have concentrated on developing my experience of working with trauma focussing on PTSD, educational trauma and transgenerational trauma. I have a particular interest and experience in working with adolescents and young adults especially those with neurodiversity.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked for many years as a teacher and learning support specialist. I balance my work life with a keen interest in all things to do with craft and cycle rides.
